Writing and editing/working in publishing go hand in hand in the lives of these authors. This panel will focus on how they manage to balance their editing and writing, whether editing has improved their writing, and much more. If you’re a writer who is considering entering the world of editing and publishing, these authors can help. Panelists will include Almeda Glenn Miller, author of Tiger Dreams and Begin with the Corners, co-founder of Big Bad Wolf Press; Meghan McClure, poet and editor at Floating Bridge Press; Michael Schmeltzer, author of Blood Song and editor at Floating Bridge Press; Sharma Shields, author of The Sasquatch Hunter’s Almanac and founder/editor of Scablands Books; Alexandra Teague, author of The Wise and Foolish Builders and editor with Broadsided Press; and Jason Rekulak, publisher of Quirk Books and author of The Impossible Fortress. The panel will be moderated by Leesa Dean, author of Waiting for the Cyclone.
